My name is Matthew Rutledge-Taylor, and I am a student of cognitive science. I am studying at Carleton University, located in Ottawa Ontario. My field of study is 'Computation and Cognition', which is ultimately geared towards artificial intelligence re
search. Although I am enrolled mainly in computer science courses my primary interest in school, and in life is philosophy. Specifically, I am interested in the philosophy of the mind, and other metaphysical issues. On this page I will be posting my wr
itings. I have a lot of research yet to do, but I have some theories that have me very excited. Once I have explored them thoroughly I will put them up. Maybe when I have some time, I'll post some of the papers I've written for classes. Don't look for
anything exciting until this summer. That's when I'll have some time to really think freely. Until then most of my time will be taken up trying to figure out why my C++ code won't compile.
